We are seeking energetic, professional, outgoing interns to assist with brand awareness at events throughout the Okanagan. It’s fun, and it’s all about branding and outreach. We are dedicated to the communities we serve, from our advertisers to our news makers and we want to continue to grow on our momentum.

Duties include, but are not limited to; engaging the crowd, handing out promotional information and educating people on our marketing services and news site. Some of the events we are involved with include the IPE, Canada Day, Roots and Blues, Merchants Markets, Car Free Day, Walk to Fight Arthritis, Cops for Kids and many, many more.

District Sales Manager - Kamloops

District Sales Manager – Kamloops

We are currently seeking a personable, professional District Sales Manager with a strong background in digital marketing and sales to work closely with the Regional Account Executives team to find and create business opportunities and drive closure with our dedicated customer account base. This is a hands on position where the District Sales Manager will manage their own clients as well as assisting in leading an elite sales team, and contribute directly to the success of their clients marketing campaigns. Qualifications:

  • B2B sales experience with a track record of exceeding sales goals
  • Exceptional time management, organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships and positively influence colleagues
  • Sales team management experience is an asset

We offer full benefits after 3 months probation

Base salary with commission plus sales team overrides, and bonuses has realistic strong potential for six digit income. This is strictly based on results, and team performance.

The Human Resource Coordinator provides assistance to Human Resource functions within the department. Recruiting, training, hiring and creating and maintaining employee contracts. Job Duties

  • Administer health and welfare plans including enrolments, changes, and terminations.

Accounts Receivable Coordinator / Collector - Vernon

Accounts Receivable Coordinator / Collector – Vernon

The Accounts Receivable Collector’s key mandate is to notify customers of delinquent accounts to solicit payment arrangements from them. Duties include receiving payment and posting amount to customer’s account; preparing statements to credit department if customer fails to respond; and keeping records of collection and status of accounts. The Accounts Receivable Collector is also expected to follow established procedures for processing receipts/cash and sorting and filing documents after posting. This position involves diplomatic interaction with customers to collect payments and support any account inconsistencies in order to facilitate swift payment of invoices due to the organization.

Job Duties

  • Contact customers to secure payment information, address disputes and/or provide necessary backup and documentation as required until full debt is closed.
  • Make arrangements for payment of outstanding and late accounts; escalate transfer to proper authorities as necessary.
  • Recognize improper billing through research and rectify if possible.
  • Document results of research and process applicable corrections for review by Management.
  • Investigate collection problems and advise customers on corporate A/R policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate customer files with all applicable correspondence and report to Management on status as required.
  • Build working relationships with internal departments to resolve customer disputes in a timely manner.
  • Review all credit balances, refunds, and adjustments, and apply adjustments and/or corrections to corporate billing records.
  • Ensure the strict confidentiality and privacy of financial transactions as they relate to the organization and its customers.
  • Form collection strategies to mitigate customer objections to making timely A/R payments.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or misapplied cash transactions.

Requirements

  • Accounting certificate or diploma
  • 2 years’ direct experience in an A/R capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate, post, correct, and manage customer account records.
  • Must possess a high level of moral judgment for handling confidential information and monetary transactions.
  • Able to perform simple to moderate account reconciliations.
  • Strong diplomatic, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills in order to handle late payments and delinquent accounts.
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
  • Excellent teamwork and team building skills.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite.
  • Sage 50 and Accpac experience is an asset.
