Responsibilities and Duties:

This is a B2B sales role – client facing and often on deadline, with in-person introductions, consistent prospecting, and a fast paced, relatively quick sales cycle. As our team members introduce and explain our products for digital and print advertising, we find that they become deeply networked in the community where they are staffed, and they grow to become experts in sales, business development and marketing.

Qualifications and Skills:

Must have sales experience. B2B is preferred.

This is not a remote enabled position. Must work in the location territory.

Benefits

Compensation is comprised of a base salary (includes expense allowance) and commissions of up to 20% starting immediately in the first year. Commissions are uncapped and residual! A very real and attainable quarterly bonus program as well! Lucrative earning potential and career growth for the right candidate. There is a comprehensive initial training program and ongoing training that will enhance and complement your existing knowledge to prepare you for success. Competitive Benefits plan, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Disability Benefits. Prior sales experience of online products is an asset, but not required.

  • Implement strategies for retaining customers requesting to terminate or downgrade their account
  • Record changes to customer accounts, updating service packages, adding accounts, and removing accounts as needed

NEWS REPORTER – KAMLOOPS

iNFOnews.ca has an immediate opening for a full-time reporter/editor in beautiful Kamloops, British Columbia.

We are a growing news organization in the B.C. Interior covering Kamloops and the Okanagan cities of Kelowna, Vernon and Penticton. The successful candidate will live in Kamloops. We work individually and as a team to break important stories that matter to our readers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for finding and pitching story ideas before researching and gathering all elements into a professional final product.

Candidates should have their own computer and camera and will be compensated. A car and phone are provided. Weekends and some evening work may be required.

Candidates will also posses:

  • Strong writing and photography skills
  • An interest in real news and journalism
  • Willingness to learn how to shoot video and do video reporting
  • Develop and maintain a good network of sources and contacts
  • Strong computer skills and ability to interact with the public
  • An ability to meet deadlines, communicate well with senior staff and work unsupervised
  • Familiarity with the Adobe Suite of products
  • Training in journalism or relevant experience preferred

We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable/Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. This position would provide general accounting and admin support to other team members and managers including, but not limited to:

  • Processing and applying payments
  • Contact customers regarding outstanding payments
  • Managing Collections
  • Assigning Leads in our CRM System
  • Updating Listings
  • Data Entry; Scanning and filing documents
  • Preparing emails, as directed, using template letter formats
  • Responding to inquiries; Create, format, assemble and proofread drafts
  • Answering and directing incoming calls

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year’s’ experience in an Administrative or Accounting support position
  • Must be extremely well-organized and able to multi-task
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Must be good with customer interaction, and being positive. Also must feel comfortable following up with customers that are behind on payment.
  • Displays enthusiasm, optimism, drive and passion while maintaining a high level of productivity and a balanced life style.
  • Understands the importance of different backgrounds, perspectives and experiences and is respectful of individual differences.
  • Works collaboratively with team members in order to achieve a common goal and develops, maintains and strengthens relationships with others

Nice-to-Have’s:

  • Experience dealing with customers via phone and directing customer calls through a phone system
  • Experience in answering and directing customer phone calls through a phone system
  • Understanding internal databases is an asset (Moneris, PipeDrive, Sage)
  • Willingness to learn
  • Excellent time-management skills
