FAQ style blogs are full of relevant information and can save you and your staff a lot of time in repetitious phone calls and emails. Pull tweets and posts from your blog content, tweak them for relevance, and voila! You’re ready to post. Blogs offer great insight into your company, and that’s exactly what you want for marketing.

Pro-blogging is all about matching your article to your company’s mandate, (you have written a business plan and mission statement, right?) products and services. Besides expanding on FAQ as mentioned above, blogs present the perfect opportunity to expand on product descriptions and great reviews. When your content is unique, and useful to readers, they will stay long enough to actually read a blog or two and increase your chance of conversion. Solve a problem or be humorous. Readers often love reading about staff bloopers or your history, especially if you are well established in the community. You will want some interesting images on your blog as well that once again, reflect your company’s brand. A picture is worth a thousand words, and that is especially true for blogs.
